Police reveal the scale of the police planning operation ahead of G7

There are now less than two months to go until the G7 Presidency Summit in Cornwall, and operational security plans are well underway.

The Summit is being hosted in Carbis Bay, St Ives from 11-13 June by the UK Government, but responsibility for security and policing has been delegated to Devon and Cornwall’s Chief Constable, Shaun Sawyer.
